McCarren airport at Las Vegas has free Wi-Fi for travellers throughout most of the airport. Just connect to the SSID 'McCarren WiFi' and start up your browser. You then just have to give your email address and you're away. I got almost a full strength signal sat by Gate 3 at Terminal 2 (International) opposite the Liberty duty free shop. There are powerpoints around the gate areas too, though hard to find ones next to seats so you may have to sit on the floor if you need to plug in.
