Comfortable?! I haven't been to DXB for a little while but in response to some of the other comments, and the high aggregate grade around Comfort, I would say that it was a madhouse the times I've visited. You could say that's a good thing - great shopping, cleanliness etc for thousands, even in the early hours of the morning (what is 'morning' for those on all sorts of timezones passing through?) - but I have felt far more comfortable in other airports. Be prepared for queues and general human traffic. Still a good airport, though.

Wifi (a) works well, not bad latency & speed (b) is FREE :-) Would have given a 10 but a bit of latency on response. It is a nice airport as they go (try UK regionals, not a comparison in most cases) but a bit pricey - again, compare LHR T5 and it's not so bad.

The business lounges are lovely, all the mod cons supplied. Made the 4 hrs delay bearable.

It was busy, gets a 9 for being free, connected straight away from seat on 1st floor, no hassle.

Free WiFi access is provided by the airport, but the strength of signal varies, so it pays to move around until you find a good spot. Unfortunately Dubai Airport is now very busy at any time of the day or night which means it is hard to find good signal strength and somewhere to sit in comfort to access the internet. Try the seats away from the centre near the Emirates Business lounges. For power points look along the walls as you move out from the centre of the terrminal, they can be found but you will have to sit on the floor amongst sleeping transit passengers. Once again start by looking by the two Emirates business lounges. You may also be able to pick up Emirates WiFi service fr om the lounge as a bonus. Mobile connection is good throughout the airport., So in summary WiFi good, but you need to hunt, Mobile Fine, Powerpoints are there but again you have to hunt, Comfort is low due to number of people and difficulting finding somewhere to sit, but WiFi is free so scores high on cost
