Changi is one of the most efficient airports I have been to. Unless you are the sort of person who believes in going to the airport 3 hours before departure or are waiting for a connecting flight - I don't think you will have a chance to sit at the airport and use your laptop. Check-in, immigration clearance, security checks, taxi queues...everything is handled so quickly and efficiently!, But for those who are fond of hanging around at airports - excellent wireless connectivity, powerpoints available. And hey there is a even a pool table next to the food court!

In the F gate zone on an international connection. Only one wifi connection available but good signal strength. Starhub. Was going to cost sun$8 for 1 hour but couldn't get the system to accept any of 4 credit cards. Therefore used the mobile phone sign-up which worked a treat. No idea how much (if anything) its costing.

I have travelled to 30 countries, and probably to 75 airports or more over the past 5 years. Singapore's airport is the most wired! The connection is not bad almost everywhere in the airport. When you get out to the gates however, the signal is weaker (for Wifi). Cost is not bad if you have a Starhub account (only 10 SGD a month or so), but I believe you have to be a Singapore resident in order to retain such. If you're paying on a pay-per-use basis, watch out! I lived in Singapore for two years and travelled in an out at least once a week. Wifi / cellular access in the airport is one reason why I like Singapore's hub more so than Hong Kong.

I can't believe everything is free here and there are internet terminals and free wifi everywhere. I'm resting in one of their video lounges watch CNN, HBO, etc. It's fantastic.
