- Make the beta better! atlarge.com is populated by people like you. Can't find an entry on a location? If you've been there recently, help us out. Provide us with some info. We're at the beginning of a journey and we admit this product is evolving.
- Be constructive. OK, so that hotspot operator wasn't entirely accurate about their coverage or they don't know someone just trashed their access point but, if possible, try to come up with an answer if that's the case. Other users want to know what works more than what doesn't work, though the latter can obviously be useful.
- Be precise. Our database covers every commercial airport in the world but we can't know every terminal and every nook and cranny in every terminal. Tell us your location as precisely as possible - use gate numbers, names of nearby retail outlets, anything that will let another user know where you were.
- Think global. atlarge.com is a resource available to anyone on the web, plus, by the very nature of travel, we are often strangers in any particular airport we visit. So bear in mind that whereas you might know local details (names of local service providers, standards or brands used in one country but not in another or even how much a local currency is worth) others might not. Put yourself in others' shoes. Don't assume every traveller is like you. Details are good!
- Post in English OK, so we just told you to 'think global' and we realise atlarge.com is a resource for locations all around the world but we ask you to please post in English. We will look to include other languages in the future (though let's face it, we'd never cover all of them, in line with all the locations atlarge.com serves) and will be experimenting with advertising in local languages. But in the meantime sharing your insights in English will help our moderators and the highest proportion of other users.
- No flaming! Unconstructive or abusive posts won't appear on the site. Try to help each other out.
- Give us your feedback. This is a new service and we are still learning. We hope atlarge.com fulfils your needs as you travel or when you are planning a trip but we won't have got everything right. We realise that. So drop us a line at and we will do our best to take your views and ideas on board.
- Fancy yourself as a writer? atlarge.com is also looking for insightful copy about your experiences for our regular 'Upgrade' section.
